Infertility Curriculum

Secondary Schools

Lack of infertility knowledge in Africa often leads to social isolation, domestic abuse, in-laws harassment, divorce, polygamy, disinheritance and suicide.

The InFertility Curriculum

as part of

Sexual and Reproductive Health Education

in Secondary Schools aims to:

  • Prevent and stop social stigma

  • Normalize in/fertility discourse

  • Make known that infertility is not only a woman issue, both men and women experience it

  • Address preventable causes early

  • Detect infertility signs early on for management

  • Educate on the medical and non-medical solutions available

  • Generate interest and grow locally based fertility health professionals
